Welcome to the Replay mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “the Application”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when using the Application or our website.

1. Information Collected

1.1. Personal Information: When creating a user account, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, username, password and other information necessary for providing our services.

1.2. Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Application, including the features you use, the content you view, and other interactions with the Application.

1.3. Social Login: We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account like Google, Apple or Facebook. When you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. These information may include your email, name or picture profile.

1.4. Application Data: When you use the application we also may coolect the following information if you chose to provide us with access or permission:

  • Geolocation Information: We may request to track your location when the app is in foreground and also in background in order to provide certain location-based services:
    • Send Notifications when you are near a place where one of your friends posted a moment/story. When this feature is enabled, your location may be priodically sent to our server even when the app is not in used or closed. However our server doesn’t store these location data. At any time you may revoke these permissions in your device settings.
    • When posting new story/moments through the application, the loction from where the content has been created is collected and remotely stored in our servers. This data is retained as long as the associated content is available in the application. When you delete a story/moment or delete your account, the location stored in the server is also deleted.
  • Push Notification: We may request permission to send you push notification. If you whish to opt out from receiving these notification you may turn them off from your device settings (or by deleting the application on your device).
  • Phone Contact List: We may request permission to get access to your phone contact list in order to help you to connect to your friends. We do not store these data in our server.
  • Camera and Gallery: We may request permission to get access to your cammera and Gallery when you want to create a moment/story. At any time you may revoke these permisison in your device settings.

2. Use of Information

2.1. Authentication: We may process this information so you can create and log in to your account.

2.2. Service delivery: The collected information is used to provide, maintain, and improve the features of the Application, as well as to offer you personalized service.

2.3. Communication: We may use your information to send you communications related to the Application, such as updates, alerts, and information about new features.

2.4. To save or protect an individual’s vital interest: We may process your information when necessary to save or protect an indiviual vital’s interest.

3. Information Sharing

3.1. Sharing with Third Parties: We only share your personal information with third parties in cases authorized by law or with your explicit consent.

3.2. Anonymized Sharing: We may aggregate and anonymize usage data for analytics and statistical reports, but this information will not personally identify you.

3.3. Sharing with other users: If you interact with other users (posting a story/moment, posting a comment, replying to a comment, sending an invitation to an other user…), other usres may be able to get access to your username and picture profile. When posting a story/moment, other users may be able to see the location from where you have posted your content. However your phone number and email address are never shared to other users.

4. Information Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Application may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Application and enhance your user experience. You have the option to manage cookie preferences in your device settings.

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. The changes will take effect upon publication. We encourage you to regularly review this policy to stay informed of updates.
